  • Lecture and discussion of Concrete Poetry

• Online activity:
  • Explore UBU Web Visual Poetry and UBU Web Historical reading the work of at least 6 of the listed authors or collections.
  • Write a detailed analysis of one of the concrete poems in UBU Web Visual Poetry or UBU Web Historical focusing on how the visual form contributes to the idea presented. Copy/paste the poem into your document. This is due by noon on Monday, September 14.
  • Read and contribute substantively to the analyses written by 2 of your classmates. This is due before class on Tuesday, September 15.
