  • "Everyday Use" by Alice Walker
  • "Happy Endings" by Margaret Atwood
  • "The Black Cat" by Edgar Allan Poe
  • "Girl" by Jamaica Kincaid
• Individually, write a 1-2 page discussion on what literary and rhetorical concepts you would focus on when teaching the short story assigned to your group, referencing Fletcher and Showalter. Post in Google Classroom before class next week.
