On December 13, 2024 I will be giving a plenary talk at the DHARTI 2024 conference at IIT Jodhpur, India.

This talk focuses on the ways in which generative AI technologies can help lower the technical barrier to access to creating digital writing and electronic literature. I will discuss different ways in which AI normalizes generative writing, leads users to computational literature, and further undermines the page’s hegemonic influence on writing. I will conclude by showcasing different ways in which people can use AI to create new structures and paradigms for digital writing.
